Great Kid Drum @ Great Price Dec 20, 2008 Wow!!! I got this for my daughter for Christmas. I haven't given it to her yet, but I had to try it out. What a great sound! Very impressed with the tone and the construction for the price. Highly recommended!!!
Excellent drum! Dec 14, 2008 My 21 month old son loves this drum! It's sturdy and makes a great sound, not at all like a toy drum. This is a REAL drum. He uses it as a little seat too.
Watch a 1 year old Nov 23, 2008 This wonderful drum was given by grandparents to their grandson on his 1st birthday. Wow -- the response was instantaneous and robust. Who would have expected that any present would hold attention much longer than 30 seconds, but for well over five minutes the facination rolled on -- for the birthday boy and for his older cousins. Something primal and wonderful about drums, and this one seems to be ideal for the age group.
One of our favorites Nov 10, 2008 This is one of my kids favorite toys of all time. The drum itself is very durable. Both of my kids have stood on it - and beat it like you wouldn't believe and it still looks brand new (besides the crayon marks all over the top). Last Christmas, I bought my kids many instruments and this is by far one of the best purchases that I made. My now 1-year old son has loved playing with this for the past 6 months. At first, he would only use his hands to beat it and now he uses the mallets. My daughter also loves to play lots of songs for me. Great purchase!
High Quality Instrument/Toy Made in USA! Great Sound! Mar 31, 2008 I got this drum for my son's 4th birthday. He was excited to get it. I don't mind the sound at all. It is not a loud annoying sound like some cheap toys are. We also had the large lollipop Remo drum already, which we all enjoy. I also have a 18 month old. There is a mallet for each of them and they both play on it at the same time. But, I put the mallets up when not in use because these mallets are wrapped and tied. Lollipop mallet is not wrapped. I highly recommend both drums. The large lollipop has a lower pitch than the floor tom. My husband and I also find it hard to resist playing on them. We plan to add to our collection of Remo kids drums. Also, it is great that they are made in the USA.
